Licensed Veterinary Technician
The University of Tennessee Small Animal Physical Rehabilitation Department is seeking a licensed Veterinary Technician to perform all the responsibilities of a CCRP.  In addition, this position may be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients.  Will be required to work some weekends on a rotating basis.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:
AAS or BS in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited school.  Must obtain a TN license within one year of employment.  Must have completed or be in the process of completing the certification program in canine rehabilitation (CCRP).  One year experience in a busy hospital and have basic nursing skills and excellent animal handling skills is required.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be able to work in a team environment.  Must be able to interact and teach veterinary students on a daily basis.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
Prefer a veterinary technician certified in canine rehabilitation with 6 months - 1 year in rehab exclusive practice.
